Don't Get This Insurance!!!

This company lies all the way around!!! Customer service is the worst and they are all foreign and very hard to understand them!!!

None of my Drs accept this insurance!!! Even when you cancel their insurance they will still put you on their plan the following years!!! They'll tell you that you qualify for a monthly flex card every month and that doesn't exist. They will tell you your Drs are on this plan and most Drs do not accept this insurance!!!

They tell you your premium is $0 but lie about the premium after the first year!!! They will keep harassing you after you've cancelled with them in one way or another!!! Stupid Obama Care insurance that gives you more problems to have to deal with!!! After I cancelled with them my husband added me to his insurance through his employer and I'm so glad he did!!!

I know for a fact that all my Drs accept my husband's plan!!! I checked into it and found them all plus the copays are so much lower!!!

User's recommendation: Don't deal with this company!!! Worst cheap insurance you'll find!!! Don't fall for their lies!!! Copays are outrageously high for everything!!!

My husband got me on his insurance through his employer. I'm very happy!!!

Customer service is horrible. Their representatives all have foreign accents and can't be understood.

You cancel with them and they keep putting you on their insurance plan for the following year and even after cancelling they still keep sending you letters and they tell you they have to put you on their insurance plan. They say you have cancelled but yet they still harass you!!! Worst insurance I've ever been on. None of my Drs accept this company.

So after all the crap and harassment from this company my husband added me to his insurance where he works at his insurance is much better in all ways!!! I'm now covered in the same ways as he is.

This company also told me I was eligible for a flex card each month which was a total lie!!! They are liars all the way around and the copays are totally ridiculous for Drs visits, specialists, RX, urgent care, and ERs!!!

User's recommendation: Not worth it!!! Type of Obama Care which is more to it than you are told such as you will not have to pay a premium your first year but after that you do have to pay a premium which they tell you you don't!!! All false information all the way around!!!

Heaven forbid you call in with a question or problem because you will have a great deal of difficulty understanding the person on the other end providing customer service. It's definitely offshore and they have a very bad command of the English language. Furthermore when you ask for a doctor in your area that they say is in network, over 80% of the doctors they recommended no longer took and better buckeye health plan. We switched to another provider and are so glad we are away from these people

Unable to resolve loggin issue

Its has been 2 weeks and over 3 phone calls where Ambetter cannot find me in their system. After 3 hours on the phone and waiting their 7-10 business days somehow they lost my original ticket and cannot find it. When asked to speak to a manager they are all in meeting. What poor customer service. No IT department. This is a joke. I would not recemmond this and I wwork in healthcare.

I have recieved the worst healthcare under Buckeye. They denie you actual diagnoses. They love to Guess. That kind of attitude cost my wife her life. Died of cancer in 4 months after being ignored for 8 months Horrible

Tried to call customer service, since their website is so useful in trying to find locations were service can be provided. They can not even complete the basic needs, including identifying a location where I can get an x-ray. Would not recommend this company for your insurance needs.

Absolutely incompetent customer service! They will read off scripts rather than try to actually try to help you. They hung up more than once when confronted with a problem that they didn't want to help with. They demanded we get an urgent care to call them about a bill that was supposed to be covered by their policy because they said it was out of network when their website clearly stated it was in network. Stay as far away from this shady company!!!!!

Ambetter From Buckeye Health Plan - Refund
Good luck on getting your money back. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE a payment of almost 400$ they took it out during the middle of this COVID19 while I was NOT WORKING and was furloughed. I'm very dissatisfied and will I refer them???? No I need every penny I have and for them to take advantage of me during this pandemic is very UNPROFESSIONAL.

They Dropped Reward of Health Benefit of "Gym Membership"

2019- Ambetter/Buckeye Health Insurance, Ohio New plan does not have this plan.....anymore. Makes me wonder if submission to registering for this was as difficult for others like I had experienced. Was not informed of this reward being dropped either. I found this out inquiring about recording my 1/2019 Jazzercise classes. My message from 2018 to them regarding my issue was still never addressed & this portal/tab to send message is still on their website to boot!! Thank you for you're service....even though..... I see many people not happy with this government funded plans. Very grateful for you're business.
